Biografía
American director. Born in 1950 in Boston. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and has been living in New York City since 1981. Her short film "Empty Suitcases" won numerous awards at various international film festivals. She is best known for the films "Variety" (1984) and "Luminous Motion" (1998). "Handsome Harry" was presented at the WFF in 2009. She is a professor of film at Columbia University. "The Drowning" is her latest feature.
