Biografía
Ganador del premio Independent Spirit Award 2015 «Someone to watch» por su película H. También es becario Guggenheim 2014 y Rockefeller Fellow de EU 2012. En 2010, fue nombrado uno de los 25 Rostros del Cine Independiente por la revista Filmmaker. Ha hecho cuatro largometrajes con su cómplice Rania Attieh. Sus películas se han proyectado en muchos museos prestigiosos (MoMA, Tate) y festivales de cine de todo el mundo. Su película Initials S.G. se estrenó en Tribeca 2019, donde ganó el prestigioso premio Nora Ephron.
