Maren Victoria Thingnæs is a Norwegian documentary filmmaker with a passion for personal and character driven documentary films. She made her first short documentary in 2013, Forgive and Forget Not, a film about a mother in Boston, MA, who lost two of her three sons in gun violence. In the fall of 2015, she released her documentary film Gentle, a documentary about her late father, the Norwegian jazz musician Frode Thingnæs. Her films have been screened at festivals and on television internationally.
