Biografía

Film director and screenwriter. In 1958 he directed the amateur film section at the Cine Ateneo and after collaborated at the Official Film School. In 1961 he moved to Paris, where he worked with important directors such as Jean Valérie, Christien Jacques, Fred Zimmerman, Jacques Deray, among others. Between 1982 and 1990 he worked with José Luis Garci and Pilar Miró. His first films are part of Third Way of Spanish Cinema that tries to reach the largest possible audience by showing reality with a critical point of view. In the 90’s he began to work in television.
