Francesco Diaz

Francesco Diaz was born in Milan on June 28, 1976.He graduated in 2001 from the Civic School of Cinema in Milan. After graduation, he worked as a freelancer in various productions before starting in 2002 his teaching career in photography direction at Cinelife. In 2005, Francesco and several of his colleagues opened "Cineway", which has been one of the most important independent film training centers in Milan between 2005 and 2010. Aside from his work at Cineway and Cinelife, Francesco supervised the making of more than 60 short films throughout his career.

Francesco is the founder of Mckenzie Bros, a production company where he worked as a cinematographer and director on several documentaries, video clips, web series and fictions. As Director of Production (DOP), he has worked on various sets including "Either you're a man or you're a woman" by Enrico Vanni and "The light steps" by Vittorio Rifranti with whom he also shot 2 short films: "2068" and "The healing". Additionally, he worked as DOP for the Italian team in “The Da Vinci Treasure'' by Peter Mervis. Francesco directed for two years the play entitled “Skreek” a Two of Two production.
