Biografía
Yuri Ancarani was born in 1972 in Ravenna. His work operates as a blend of documentary cinema and contemporary art and is featured in numerous festivals, including New Director/New Films MoMA NY, TIFF Toronto, Viennale, Taipei FF Taiwan, Venice Film Festival, CPH:DOX, IFFR Rotterdam, IDFA, Hot Docs, Cinéma du réel, SXSW, Ann Arbor Film Festival and True/False Film Fest. He has also won several awards, such as the Premio speciale della giuria CINÉ+ Cineasti del presente at the 69th Locarno Film Festival.
