Jacqueline Zünd studied at the Ringier Journalistenschule and at the London Film School. Her feature-length documentaries Goodnight Nobody (2010) and Almost There (2016) have been shown at many film festivals worldwide, such as at the IDFA, Visions du Réel, Locarno, ACID Cannes, DOK Leipzig, Montreal Festival du nouveau cinéma, Moscow International Filmfestival and at the Mostra Internacional de Cinema in Sao Paulo, among others, and won several awards. Her third film Where We Belong premiered at the 69th Berlinale.
