Biografía (1)

Eiji Uchida spent his childhood in Brazil, and began his film career as an assistant director to Kitano 'Beat' Takeshi, after which he worked as a writer for Playboy magazine in Japan. In 2000, he wrote the TV drama Driving School Story, and in 2004, directed his first commercial feature film, Gachapon. After several other features, he directed the international festival hit Greatful Dead in 2013, which was sold to both the UK and Germany for distribution.
