Some cannot but stand in awe while others feel curious. Uncovering the secrets that the human brain has to offer in the inexorable progress of science raises questions both pressing and fascinating. Since ancient times, philosophers and scientists have searched for the answers to the nature of consciousness, existence of a soul, and brain function. The notion that a machine could imitate the building blocks of our thought processes was, until recently, perceived as science fiction; today it is slowly becoming reality. The documentary film shows the brain and neural networks, neurology, and information technology breakthroughs, focusing on the impact such knowledge may bring and whether human intelligence is truly as unique as we would like to assume.
