Magdalena

A debut by Filip Gieldon which tells a story of young Magdalena who doesn’t speak at all but expresses herself through music. She works as a DJ in a night club and dreams of working abroad. She has a five-year-old daughter whom she raises together with her mother. When the opportunity arises in a form of DJ Julia and joint trip to Berlin, she has to decide: Should she choose her career or her own child? This situation opens her up old wounds and traumas.
