Sinopsis(1)

The satiric film is a dramatic-ironic picture of the Hungarian intellectuals in the seventies. Ebes, whose art has been awarded for its merits conglomerating folk features with modernity, can hardly believe that from his parents, old friends, and the sons of the people he did not even receive a telegram of congratulation. He revolts, demands his poems back from the publisher Korszerűség (Modernity), and from his villa on Rózsadomb (Rosehill) his way leads him to a dire buffet in the ninth district. He offers American cigarettes for two old street cleaners, who listen attentatively as a consequence of the alcohol consumed. The "revolutionary" submerging of Ebes lasts till he discovers the first louse on his body. (texto oficial de la distribuidora)
