Sinopsis(1)

The protagonist of this symbolic film is Gazsi, the mumbling, poverty-stricken half-wit, who used to dream of a bowl of rabbit-stew, but who no longer likes eating rabbits, being their fellow instead. Yet he is the one who must call the attention of the field-guard and the others, hungry for rabbit stew, to the autumn hunting. The shootings of the gentlemen for pure entertainment calls forth a protestation against the massacre of war from this 20th century Saint Francis, and he turns the hunters against himself by saving Rabbit the Stew, and he later consoles himself with his friendship instead of the pleasant smell of a cooking stew.
