The inspiration for this distinctive debut came after its director watched an emotional conversation between two middle-aged men. The protagonists are attempting to breach humanity’s oldest taboo – cannibalism. In a remote valley slowly eaten away by booming industrial cities, the two struggle to come to grips with a decision they have already taken – one that drives them to radical ends. Will they satisfy their desire to escape from the insufferable boredom of daily life?
