From toxoplasmosis to the most general questions about the principles of thinking and science. A short portrait of a Czech evolutionary biologist captured by director Sarah Lomen. Czech scientist Jaroslav Flegr was brought to the spotlight during the times of Covid with his often cutting remarks on social media, where he predicted the epidemic’s development and commented on the government’s restrictions. Less known is his systematic long-term research on toxoplasmosis and its influence on the host’s behaviour.
