Jezevec Chrujda

In the centre of the Hornbeam forest is a small glade with a big oak in the middle and a hidden burrow underneath it. Crunch the Badger is an architect and builder renowned far and wide. One day he meets the charming weasel, Annie, who got lost in the forest on the way to the Drowned Water caves. Crunch warns Annie the Weasel that the cave is inhabited and haunted by Suckers - mosquitoes that have turned into bloodthirsty monsters over time. The famous dance master, Smelldolf the Polecat, laughs at this in disbelief and offers to accompany Annie. The badger seeks advice from his friend Stan the Owl who is confined to a wheelchair after an illness. Stan the Owl is the smartest creature in Hornbeam and perhaps in the whole world. She gives Crunch a bag of delicious doughnuts, courage and good advice on how to outwit the dreaded Suckers. (Finále Plzeň)
