Sinopsis(1)

This film was created to sync with an existing symphony - so the music itself is a star. Another star is Mother Earth (Gaia in Greek), played by dancer Mikayla Scaife. The film tells the uplifting story of the earth’s creation, including the sliver of time when humans came and messed with Gaia’s masterpiece, our Earth. Luckily, Gaia wakes up in time to kick some “A,” and save the day. For cinephiles, the film could be compared to Koyaanisqatsi, the 1982 hit set to music by Philip Glass. Neither film contains dialogue. For classical music lovers, the score by composer Johan de Meij was written as a sequel to Gustav Holst’s The Planets. De Meij’s symphony portrays the planet Holst forgot to include: Earth. This film has been described as a “A cool, immersive audio-visual experience where you can sit back and appreciate planet earth and all its glory.” (Woodstock Film Festival)
