Sinopsis(1)

Radical resistance to the Moroccan occupiers is part of family upbringing and life in Western Sahara. The national anthem incites revolution, and children are taught in school that Morocco is a cruel tyrant. The situation was no different for the four friends working together on the final project for their film school. They decided to make a film about the so-called Wall of Shame, a sand wall built by the Moroccan authorities stretching across Western Sahara, dividing the local population into those living under occupation and those in refugee camps. The Sahrawi nation, to which the students belong, has been striving for independence for decades. Without any interest or assistance from the international community, armed struggle has become their path to independence. (One World)
