El doctor Jonathan Dempsey (Ted Danson), un zoólogo americano, viaja a Escocia con la intención de investigar la leyenda del monstruo del lago Ness. Se hospeda en una pensión y traba amistad con la dueña (Joely Richardson) y con su hija Isabel, que es una niña que posee un don especial. The creators should make it clear whether they wanted to make a mystery film about the Loch Ness creature, or a bland family drama stuck to the same old template. All in all, it might not have been that bad, but I found it rather embarrassing. Ian Holm may be a good actor, but it's not enough to raise my rating. In short, one of many other films that fizzles out of your head even faster than it might seem.
