Even after the war, Marika continued to make her films as she had done before and during the war because during those years she had developed her own genre so much that it would have been truly unfortunate not to continue it or to do something quite different. In her fourth color film, she forms a pleasant pair with Johann Heesters, who is a constant on the German scene to this day (!). The only thing that is more modern is the fashion and design, but it is still a very likable musical affair, this time set in sunny Italy.
