Attias and his friend are held captive by a gang of crooks who demand that Attias acquire them shares in a company on the American ‘third market’. He’s able to call Annabelle and raise the alarm, and before long, Simon’s team arrives to rescue him. Attias returns to Annabelle as a broken man, stripped of his fortune and self-worth. But Simon isn’t fooled. He investigates the mysterious American company and discovers it has ties to Attias. The kidnapping was an elaborate con to rob Attias´ friend! When Annabelle’s father is murdered in his own home with no sign of a break in, Simon suspects Attias is responsible. Simon tracks Attias, who has become a fugitive, down in Manila, and finally manages to arrest him. (Canal+)
