Pescherecci

FilmWAVES starts in a swinging rhythm on the deck of a motor boat; men are dragging boxes with fish, drinking tea from an iron pot, strong ropes are pulling out the nets while the terse sentences of the sailors are heard. The only film subtitle says: “There are thousands of people on the decks of fishing boats cruising the vast sea between Sicily and Africa. In storms, they seek a refuge at the Lampedusa island.” (Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival)
