An interesting style and concept of filmmaking, an A-list cast, and probably an utterly typical Wes Anderson and his weird style. His comically off-kilter form and bizarre style make this "film" a strange achievement, but I definitely can't say that I enjoyed it, that it made me laugh or that I would ever want to see it again. In short, it's more of an experiment for fans of the director, but otherwise it's a rather unattractive thing to watch. ()
Wes Anderson delivers an engaging short film set entirely within the confines of a single bed. If you think of a cinematic bite-sized treat, this fits the bill perfectly. ()
Of the four Dahl adaptations by Wes Anderson, Poison interested me the least, and the central motif of "fear of the unseen (and even the absent)" was rather irritating in the end. ()
