Helena

A documentary with perspective. It's nothing crucial, not a big cinema documentary, but a format in which Helena Vondráčková reminisces, comments, and works. It's always better when artists themselves comment on their career, rather than when it's haphazardly edited by someone else. Vondráčková seems as if she chose chapters and topics from her life that will be discussed, although the documentary has its own screenwriter, which is only logical. Some completely objective evaluation may come many years after her death with sufficient distance. Not now, while her career continues. (12.11.2023)
