What is worse than losing? Losing and getting beaten up, or Paul Newman and his Chiefs on the warpath. I didn't quite grasp whether, after the era of the Philadelphia Broad Street Bullies, it was meant to reflect violence on the ice as something that entertains the crowd, just like gladiatorial games used to, or if it’s just making a mockery of everything with its "cabaret" ending.
