Návraty k Obrazom starého sveta

A cinematic tribute to the work of director Dušan Hanák, focusing on his extraordinary work Pictures of the Old World (1972) in combination with the related short films The Mass (1967) and To Leave an Imprint (1970). Once banned, Pictures of the Old World has the character of a free, independent cinematic work and a deeply human dimension, despite the fact that it was made after the occupation of Czechoslovakia in 1968, at the time of the harshest normalization. Dušan Hanák reveals the background of their creation, but several personalities, connoisseurs and friends of free filmmaking also express their opinions and observations. (Art Film Fest)
