I don’t intend to and won’t claim that every case with this incongruous pair deserve the full five. They don’t. In fact, lots of them are just slightly above average. However, only very few long-standing crime series manage to maintain such high quality for so many years. This is the only series of its kind that I watch regularly after all these years. And gladly. That’s why I gave it the fifth star.
