Sinopsis(1)

Bold, hilarious and provocative, Coupling features six friends - involved, formerly involved, or looking to become more intimately involved with each other - who get down to the basics of love, lust and relationships. They find themselves in bizarre and compromising scenarios, revealing their deepest secrets, confusing the clearest issues and generally making their way through relationships. inglés Open, clever, and above all incredibly funny britcom, which is hard to find competition in its punchlines and graduated dialogues. What Jack Davenport can demonstrate in his passionate monologues or what Jeff's insane theories bring is simply not seen elsewhere. But the key to why I returned to the series with such anticipation is Ben Miles as Patrick. His stubbornness, honesty, and innocence combined with countless sexual experiences are the most grateful source of gags for me. In order to make Coupling a completely immortal series, the fourth series could not be (due to a very unpleasant casting change) so terribly breathless and uneven. Nevertheless - the last two or three minutes deserve great praise for their credibility and impressiveness. Coupling, therefore, is not without flaws, but remembering it can only be done with a wide smile. ()

inglés By the time the boundaries shifted with Friends and Sex and the City, Britcoms were going through the same thing, but through their own lens. Coupling is original in that it really only deals with relationships and only in an ironic way. By definition, the main six characters don't have to deal with careers around the age of thirty; all their senses are focused on sex and pairing, nesting, and planning it all. Body language, reading between the lines, and exploring the logic of the opposite sex on the way to the same goal are all important. ()
