Japan in 1970’s was dominated by self-absorbed generation; the “Me” generation. A society full of narcissists, leads to loneliness. Director Toshiya Fujita, weaves an intricate tale of love about a couple constantly looking to start over. Yuichi (Eiji Okuda) was only 24 when his wife left him. Emotionally distressed, he gave up on his dream to become a professional photographer and left his son in his sister's care. Whatever his wife's reasons were to leave, he was still deeply in love. In hopes to reunite with her, he picks up a job at a moving company and spent his days on the road. One day at work, he stumbles across young Ayako (Aiko Morishita), a British rock band groupie, who had just fallen out with another fan. Yuicihi is initially enchanted by Ayako, but things change when he finds that she had stolen his precious camera. (Nikkatsu)
