Ishwar, Shita y Abhiram son tres hermanos que luchan por reconstruir sus vidas en medio del desplazamiento y la agitación social posterior a la partición de Bengala. Esperan hallar la felicidad en esta realidad, pero surgirán una serie de confl ictos graves después de que Abhiram declare su amor a su hermana Shita, algo que Ishwar rechaza por completo. Indian films just have something special about them, partly because India is such an intriguing country. Moreover, even in this serious drama with comedic elements, the characters' singing, so typical of Indian cinema, is used. It's not a feature that disrupts the enjoyment of the film in any way but rather actually helps it quite a bit. It's also because the creator aimed to make the film innovative and at times used unconventional methods.
