Sinopsis(1)

(Izaro Films S.A.)

inglés This is a very interesting drama in and of itself. It points out that if you want to fight for the truth in today’s rather difficult times, you have to sacrifice your own life. Not that I’ve never heard that before, but Meryl Streep and Sam Neill fought for that family like no one in no other movie did. When I imagine this in real life, which is something the movie tried to make me do about every ten minutes, I realize that not everyone has such a harsh life. And this movie was very strong in that aspect. What was worse was the rather strong connection to religion, Christianity, and the Church that we should really call a “cult” in this case. Everyone can interpret that in their own way. In any case, even the others around those people did not have very healthy opinions, so the movie actually called out both sides. I think that only time will tell which one of these two sides they’ll incline towards – the one that is able to show some respect or the one that doesn’t recognize any alternative opinions. ()
