For the lucky participants of PIMP MY RIDE, this dream becomes a reality when MTV joins forces with experienced car-detailers in order to transform the most modest of wheels into deluxe hip-hop machines. West coast rapper Xzibit hosts each 30 minute episode, all of which take place in Southern California. Working with car manufacturers West Coast Customs, Xzibit guides viewers through the process of turning dingy old vehicles into customized, tricked-out works of art.
