Horrible Histories

I have not read the book (fortunately, I have gathered my knowledge of history from other sources), but in any case, it is one of the desperate attempts to divert the attention of British youth from Spiderman, Batman, and Superman toward the understanding of history. Depending on their nature, everyone can consider this attempt to be either appropriately popularized or downright vulgarized. However, humor and the ability to captivate are there, although it should be clear to everyone that, for example, from the episode about ancient Rome, viewers will most likely take away the knowledge of where the Romans went to vomit after a hearty feast. The drawing is quite quirky, but there is nothing wrong with that. It attracts attention - and that is the purpose. However, the animation is very lacking, and I cannot forgive the series for that.
