Isherwood ¡Boo!

inglés Incredibly pretentious intellectualism, which with a cigarette in one hand and a camera in the other, tries to make a deep probe into the current society and its indifference to violence. The main character is just an arrogant snob, who with his behavior of 'I've swallowed all the wisdom of the world' only contributes to the impression that it's all "fake". At least the shots from the Prague public transport are fine. It wouldn't bother me if at least it was possible to recognize where it's the author's intention and where it's just ordinary filmmaking amateurism, which for an hour carefully creates demagogy about the fact that Czechs are a nation of cowards who cannot stand up against injustice. Any absence of a second perspective or a more significant (self)reflection (no, the conclusion in the pub and the awkward punchline in the end won't fix it) is absolutely inexcusable. I don't have an exaggerated sense of cinema, but a documentary should enrich me in some way. This just deeply offended me! ()
