Sinopsis(1)

The story begins in the village of Durakovo, not far from Moscow. From the village castle, patriot and good Christian Mikhail Fyodorovich Morozov rules with an iron fist, tending to his flock of lost young people who've hit rock bottom and the children of high-ranking state officials, herding them towards discipline, love of God and – above all – love for their homeland. Morozov is a typical powerful man of today's Russia – he has connections in high places, money, influence and authority. The village of Durakovo serves as a metaphor for Russian perceptions of democracy. Morozov enumerates the pillars upon which the ruling nationalists revived the idea of Great Russia: God, the Tsar and the Motherland, clearly illustrating that notions of democracy and free elections are foreign to them.
