Sinopsis(1)

A time-lapse documentary. Twenty years in the lives of people shunned by their family and society. Tomáš Škrdlant: “Since the early 1990s I have been accompanying and filming five children, now adults, who were rejected by their parents in maternity hospitals at the time of their birth. The state has taken care of them: from the material standpoint, they lacked almost nothing – they have just lived in another world. Particularly during the communist era, all ‘different’ children were carefully kept out of sight, hidden from the rest of society. The heroes of the film have nevertheless surmounted the obstacles and entered our world: they are living independently, working, having healthy children, divorcing and getting married again; some have even met their parents. Nothing of the sort seemed remotely possible at the beginning”. (texto oficial de la distribuidora)
