Sinopsis(1)

Martha Marcy May Marlene es un potente thriller psicológico protagonizado por Elizabeth Olsen, que interpreta a Martha, una joven con la vida repentinamente destrozada que está intentando recuperar la normalidad tras escapar de una secta y de su carismático líder (John Hawkes). Cuando pide ayuda a su hermana mayor Lucy (Sarah Paulson), de la que estaba distanciada, y a su cuñado (Hugh Dancy), Martha no puede y no quiere revelar la verdad sobre su desaparición. Cuando sus recuerdos desencadenan la aterradora paranoia de que su antigua secta podría todavía ir tras ella, la línea entre la ilusión y la realidad de Martha empieza a difuminarse. inglés I hate it when I have to give an average rating to an above-average film! But there’s not other way about it, MMMM simply didn’t deliver an above-average experience. It’s terribly slow, long and unsurprising, but at the same time, it’s very well made and performed, atmospheric and oppressive. ()

inglés To wake up and be sodomized by a rickety Bruce Springsteen, who will then write a beautiful hit about you? Some users would benefit from it, first in the ear and then in the eye. The disgusting, suffocating, schizoid debut of a man who can easily have as bright of a future as PTA, which I thought about a few times while watching this female existential horror. What Durkin does with the pre-camera space (we pseudo-intellectual nobodies call this mise-en-scène - a scene for misanthropes) I consider an unprecedented shot below the belt with the aim of dumping the viewer in the underexposed mud of agony, uncertainty and schizophrenia. I give it five stars because I like it when the movie ends and I feel like taking a brain shower. Because the world is just like that. More when I die. One of the movies of the year. ()
