SORRY! was an original long-running BBC series about a 41 year old man named Timothy Lumsden (Ronnie Corbett) who is unable to leave home because of his domineering mother Phyllis (Barbara Lott). Although a grown up, Timothy had problems meeting and speaking to women, and his mother never missed a chance to destroy everything her son had finally done. Phyllis could easily be described as a monster, who caused headaches for the entire family-Timothy, his father Sidney (William Moore) and sister Muriel (Marguerite Hardiman).
