Reseñas (1)
In A Late Quartet, you get some proper classical music. That quartet really clicked musically. But all the rest is just stuffing that prepares a pretty good foundation for the ending, which is absolutely incredible in terms of the music. Still, I can’t go higher than three stars because as much as I liked the ending, I didn’t care for the way the movie got there. The members of the quartet have a brutal falling out a few days before the last quartet and it almost seems that the concert won’t even take place. And then all of a sudden BAM! Without any explanation whatsoever, they get together and play in front of a sold-out music hall. And that’s the way the story went throughout the movie. It didn’t really explain much. But the music was great. ()
