FilmHOLIDAYS follows the life of five Czech and Slovak households on December 24 and 25. As the folk saying goes, on Christmas Eve, the Christmas wind brings disease from the west, war from the east, hunger after midnight, and a good year after noontime. The 24 hours are then edited into scenes of varying length. (Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival)
