inglés It is visible that Frič tried to capture the film in an American, extravagant style, as can be seen in the significance of the musical component, which leans towards the 1930s. However, this film severely lacks tension. There are scenes that resemble Fritz Lang's works, but the whole case is rather silly. One could probably talk about Czech noir, but a slight exaggeration would still be necessary. The film is short and sometimes tedious, and some dialogues are nonsensically convoluted. ()
