Pertti wants to deal with her obesity and the upbringing of her son on her own. Sixteen-year-old Milla wishes to become a celebrity. Aleksi's mother doesn't understand how important her son's dog is for him. Robert, the American, wants to experience the real Finnish winter. Walter must deal with school bullying, and Marika with a serious diagnosis. Aki Louhimies returns to a mosaic of stories, but this time, the lives of the protagonists are connected only by the space of their neighbourhood, and love troubles. Using suggestive camerawork and minimalist, yet bewitching piano music, the director shows problematic relationships without any embellishment, but with a pinch of hope in the background. (Febiofest)
