Crazy Horse

Continuing his fascination with institutions, and perhaps especially with ones that have variations on dance, Frederick Wiseman turns his camera on Le Crazy Horse, a Parisian erotic revue, where the dancers are topless, bottomless, enticing, and undeniably dedicated to the art of the dance. As in most of his films, Wiseman seeks to examine the many ways in which people learn from one another, how they work with mentors and teachers, and the ways in which the essence of human experience can be captured in dance.
