Terya nevinnost v Almaty

The picture by the Kazakh director, Zhanna Issabayeva, consists of thirteen short stories. Their protagonists come from different social backgrounds, are of different age, and think differently. Their only link is the city of Alma Ata and the fact that they are all going through their first sexual experience. Without any useless emotional concern, the film shows that reality is often very different from what people imagine. The reality is tragic, comical, embarrassing, and, above all, unpredictable.
