It is such a traditionally untraditional Fulci. It is not overall as rough as you would wish, but it is also not as entertaining as the creator would try to convey. In the end, it is not so much about giallo as it is about a haunted house that may have a somewhat unexpected culmination, which could easily appear unsatisfying to some viewers. Personally, I enjoy the combination of rough horror and a film for the whole family, it just isn't perfect. ()
