Sinopsis(1)

Liquid love, liquid education, liquid identity, liquid anger. Nowadays everything is liquid, nothing has a solid point. Society shares a moral indignation, however no one is able to transform it into a coherent political programme. Democracy is under threat now, more so than at any time since the Second World War. People are joining various initiatives and extremist groups, no matter if they are left or right-wing, or something completely different. They do not even mind which party they join. The financial crisis has affected everyone and the protests are spreading. In the film Liquid and Brown by Stanislav Adámek, the well-known Czech philosopher and sociologist Václav Bělohradský considers the present state of society. His peaceful thoughts over a cup of tea are supplemented by authentic shots from the protests of various groups. Although these groups have completely different interests, the protests always develop in the same way. A speaker with a microphone cries out catchy words, an enraged crowd shouts along with him and everything is supervised by an anti-conflict team and the police. People are interconnected through their anger at the government, society, minorities, and at each other. (Academia Film Olomouc)
