Sinopsis(1)

People have long dreamt of being better than others or of having superhuman ability. In the middle of the last century the technical innovations of today would have been considered science fiction. Scientists are about to create a perfect being. Homo Technologicus, the 2.0 version of a human being, is no longer a mere writer’s illusion. The world of sci-fi has become part of reality. U.S. troops use the system called "four legs" to routinely carry loads of up to 200kg. The same principle was used to create the robotic prostheses that serve many people as replacements for their amputated limbs. Humans are the only creatures able to co-create their own evolution. For a considerable amount of money today’s parents can not only choose the sex of their child before it has been conceived, but also the colour of his or her hair and eyes. In the future, children will become almost catalogue goods for the wealthy. Parents who leave their child’s features entirely up to nature will automatically disadvantage them in their future lives. Children will deliberately be smarter and more beautiful, perfect in every way. However, there is an ethical question: Is a person created and improved in this way still a human? Is this science fiction or horror? (Academia Film Olomouc)
