Kieslowski sets out to talk to passers-by at a Warsaw station, asking what they hope will happen now that so much is changing in their country and around the world. The gaze is unmistakable, and this short film and its filmic perspective tells us a great deal about life in Poland. (Tampere Film Festival)

Talking Heads may have a simple premise, but it is original. It was interesting to watch people who ranged in age from one year old to a hundred years old, reacting and answering two quite ordinary questions. One could say that this is an illustrative sociological cross-section of any society, not only the Polish one.
