In the 1950's in Salvador, a gang of street kids are committing petty thefts and sophisticated mansion robberies. Abandoned by all, their survival is based on brotherhood. In their boys-only gang, they discover love when a young orphan girl joins them. This is a year in the life of these children, and in this year they are heroes, fly like birds, have wonderful dreams, visit hell, discover sex, love, death and freedom. (Zlín Film Festival)
