A psychological trauma that has caused her deep depression has forced Lia to the countryside to visit her aunt Agata. However, the house she inhabits is a creepy rundown 18th century villa. The memories of her abusive boyfriend Viktor, who she hopes to bear a child, continues to haunt her and flashes from sessions with her therapist to the more surreal remnants of her muddled unconscious collide in this ode to artist Alejandro Jodorowsky who pioneered the art of psychomagic as a form of therapy that transports patients back to the deep seated origins of their troubles and enables them to relive events from an entirely different perspective.
