inglés I was worried that the creators might have already used up all their best ideas and the fifth season would drop in quality, but no way! It was a hell of a ride as usual, which I extremely enjoyed, and I’m hoping that the break will be used efficiently, and the next season will be just as amazing as this one. A real treat. ()

inglés Steven Knight outdoes himself with every new season. This time Peaky Blinders flirts with National Socialism. The political tenor of the series thickens the atmosphere and adds further unpredictable elements such as the “strong younger generation" = drugged-up inventor Michael and drugged-up jerk Finn. Excellent acting performances and at the end we see one cameo that I hadn’t even dreamed of. The pinnacle of British drama series production. "She said that Gypsies made the nails used on the cross that Jesus was crucified on. That’s why we’re a cursed nation and we don’t stay put in any one place for long. We must keep moving, to stay ahead of our guilt." ()

inglés Hands down the weakest season. The technical precision is not enough to cover the dull political plot, where the game is played on bullshit rather than actions, which after a few hours start to become monotonous and after a few more directly irritating. The protagonists seem quite deliberately to look tired and weary, but it is hard to find a rational justification for this. In other words, dramaturgically the fifth season was definitely not very good and giving a high rating primarily because it is Peaky Blinders is not appropriate. Now I hope that there won’t be a Season 6 and that everything will remain open and ambiguous as I would expect. ()
